Well, he was a super rich, super powerful, and he got to sit around playing with himself all day long, so I’m not sure exactly how much he SUFFERED. However, his masturbation often interfered with his duties. He prioritized it over his job in many cases. He did it so much that the court physicians were actually worried that he would eventually render himself infertile.
Besides that problem, he also was often a bit of a jerk (pun absolutely intended). He would throw food at his dinner guests, and slap people in the face in the middle of a conversation for no apparent reason.
More and more Asian elephants are being born without tusks!
A recent study has predicted that more male Asian elephants in China will be born without tusks because the ruthless poaching of tusked elephants is reducing the gene pool. This study was conducted in the Xishuangbanna Dai Autonomous Prefecture in southwest China where two thirds of China’s Asian elephants roam, and found that the “tusklessness” amongst elephants is growing.
The tusk-free gene, which was found in 2-5 percent of male Asian elephants has increased to being found in 5-10% of these animals. This decrease is evidence of the poaching pressure for ivory on the animal. Human activity has resulted in elephants not only losing their tusks, but also their homes. In fact, poaching is the second threat against these animals, behind habitat loss.
Some shelters won’t allow black cats to be adopted around Halloween! Why?
Halloween isn’t celebrated by certain religious groups, because they believe that the holiday is demonic, and that participating in the holiday would be to worship Satan. Well, that’s exactly what certain shelters are afraid of. Lynda Garibaldi, the founder of a cat foundation is afraid that people will use black cats for demonic rituals around Halloween!
As a result of this fear, she has said that the shelter will not allow black cats be adopted during the month of October. She isn’t the only one afraid for black cats; other shelters have also said that they will not allow their black cats to be adopted until after Halloween! So be careful the next time you try and adopt a black cat around Halloween, the shelter might think you’re getting ready for a satanic ritual.

15 million dollars could probably sway most people to do a lot of things. 15 million dollars and the chance to play Batman would probably be heaven for some others. Not Michael Keaton, however.
Keaton played Batman in the first two films, Batman and Batman Returns. Though he was at first going to come back for the third movie, when Tim Burton was dropped as the director, Keaton left too.
Keaton was unhappy with the screenplay, because he felt it was too lighthearted. When he first said he would leave, he was offered the 15 million, but still refused. Consequently, he was replaced by Val Kilmer, who was later replaced by George Clooney.
Obviously after that came Chris Nolan’s reboot trilogy, and rumors say in 2016 comes the next Batman reboot with an all new cast and production team.

It sounds gross, but we’ve all thought about using our own urine for mouth wash. No? Maybe it’s just me. Regardless, urine contains ammonia which is a natural teeth whitener and can actually be used to prevent you from getting cavities! So before you go to the dentist next, you know what to do. Another common use of urine was to clean clothes. Laundrymen used to set out jars in front of their shops and whoever was passing by could just pee into the jar. Whenever the jar became full, the laundrymen would bring the jar in and use it to clean clothes!
